Cardiac Cycle
This teaching material consists of a text part (see below) and an animation. The text part contains the detailed description of the individual phases of the cardiac cycle. The animation shows the mechanical events in the heart during the cardiac cycle including the arterial pulse, electrocardiogram, heart sounds, venous pulse, pressure and volume changes in the right atrium and in the left ventricle.
