Topographical anatomy of limbs

English version of our E-learning courses is aimed to foreign students of medicine. It turns their attention to topographical anatomy, which is more practical then systematic anatomy and is closer to perception of clinical medicine. The English version arises from the finished or planned Czech courses. Moreover, it has a task to integrate various foreign sources and to offer help to students situated in outland. This form of study material enables students to repeat the contents of classes after education or to prepare better for following classes in comfort of computer rooms. It can practice especially for dissecting classes and for final examination. Important feature of E-learning is a feedback aimed to both teachers and students. Hypertext atlas of Fetal Pathology

Hypertext Atlas of Fetal and Neonatal Pathology contains clinical and histological images of various form of developmental anomalies. Virtual microscope interface is used to access histological images available in very high resolution. The Atlas is available in English and Czech.

Anatomical Dissection - 1. Introduction

The video "Anatomical Dissection - Introduction" lasts 13 minutes and has been created in two language versions - Czech and English. This introductory film demonstrates instruments used in the anatomical dissection and their correct usage. Moreover, this film shows examples of correct dissection of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscles, vessels and nerves. This introductory video will be followed by videos showing preparation procedures for different topographic regions of human body, including the description of the most important structures. The video is destined to medical students who have not attended the dissection course yet, in order to facilitate their future practice in the dissecting room.
